Access Alliance

is a Nonprofit Committed to Providing Opportunities to Steward, Care For, and Recreate on Public Land.

Access Alliance is a Montana-based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable trail use and public land access for all user groups. Access Alliance is focused on supporting off road motorcycling, mountain biking, hunting, and hiking.

Access Alliance supports the preservation of public land access and is committed to educating user groups to use public lands sensibly and responsibly in order to protect the natural environment and the outdoor experience of others. Toward these ends, Access Alliance has the following goals:

Activities and Programs

To provide its members and the general public with opportunities to steward, care for, and recreate on the Public’s open spaces. We offer funding and support for maintenance work days, trail crews, legal defense and educational programs designed to promote the responsible use of multi-use public lands. We are currently partnered with the USDA-Forest Service to conduct trail maintenance projects in Custer-Gallatin, Beaverhead-Deerlodge, Helena-Lewis & Clark National Forest.

Environmental Protection

To provide leadership in the protection and preservation of off road motorcycling, off road mountain biking, hiking, and hunting by advocating for the development of informed public policy and by encouraging the sensible management of current multi-use areas and the establishment and sensible management of new public multi-use areas.

Organization

To provide an organization of volunteers who will manage Access Alliance’s facilities and programs, encourage public respect for off road motorcycling, off road mountain biking, hiking, and hunting, offer Access Alliance’s expertise to others, and support individual contributions in realizing Access Alliance’s goals.
